The process: Answer fifteen questions, and we will assemble your answers into a Coherent Narrative of strategies, vision, and action for your Leadership potential.
🌱
Your living story
Your Living Story consists of emerging patterns, conversations, possibilities of your leadership identity emerging. No living story has a linear path, none have an ending or beginning. They start the SSLs in the middle of growing.
🌿
Living story life cycle
The life cycle begins with emergence in events, encounters, experiences, and memories. Not just remembering, rather reclaiming and reassessing them. They are alive, until they go dormant, then are incepted to active living, then transition to more growth.
🌳
Transformation
It grows into its fullness. The fragmented parts of your story make up a narrative with coherence. It makes strategies, and connections. Leadership identity solidifies.
Question 1-2 of 15: BENEATH – Values & Roots
BENEATH – Values & Roots
🎵 Nova: Let's explore what's BENEATH—your deep values and beliefs.
These are the unseen roots of your leadership, shaping your actions and reality even when no one is watching. The Beneath is the foundation for all you become; your beliefs quietly guide every decision and give your story its strength.
As a leader, it's important to recognize that your core values are powerful, but others may hold different truths that are just as meaningful to them. Leadership grows when we reflect on our own Beneath and remain open to the diversity of beliefs around us.
🌀
🎵 Nova: The beliefs and opinions in your Beneath—such as points of view, judgments, biases, and assumptions—can sometimes block growth and understanding. Remember, your truth is one among many, and true leadership means being curious and respectful about the truths others hold. Revealing and "restorying" these hidden perspectives helps your leadership story flourish. Please consider any revisions based on this comment.
Question 3-4 of 15: BEFORE – Formative Experiences
BEFORE – Formative Experiences
🎵 Nova: Now let's look at what came BEFORE—the events and experiences that shaped you.
These are the story-seeds from your past that continue to influence your present leadership.
🌀
🎵 Nova: The experiences BEFORE this moment are living story-seeds, not fixed events. What seemed like an ending might now appear as a beginning. Notice: Do you tell these stories from above (as an observer) or from within (as a participant)? These challenges and mentors are not just memories; they are dialogic presences shaping your leadership today. Please consider any revisions based on this comment.
Question 5-6 of 15: BETS – Vision & Future
BETS – Vision & Future
🎵 Nova:BETS are the story-seeds you're planting into the future.
These are your visions, aspirations, and the gambles you're willing to take on what could be.
🌀
🎵 Nova: Your BETS on the future are not fixed destinations but living wagers on which story-seeds will take root. Your vision is multivocal—inviting multiple perspectives to co-create what's possible. Risks are antenarratives, floating in the "not yet decided." Notice the energy in your body as you describe these risks. How might you honor the uncertainty rather than rush to closure? Please consider any revisions based on this comment.
Question 7-8 of 15: BEING – Present Moment
BEING – Present Moment
🎵 Nova:BEING is about the here and now.
It's about presence, embodiment, and awareness in this moment.
🌀
🎵 Nova: BEING in the present is not a static performance but a living story-seed, constantly in flux. Are you aware of the gap between intention and impact? Consider the dialogue between your inner experience and how others receive your presence. These practices are not techniques to master but living story-seeds that connect you to BENEATH (your roots), BETWEEN (your relationships), and BEYOND (your purpose). Please consider any revisions based on this comment.
Question 9-10 of 15: BECOMING – Growth & Change
BECOMING – Growth & Change
🎵 Nova:BECOMING is the process of transformation.
You're always evolving, always in motion. Let's explore how you're growing.
🌀
🎵 Nova: Your BECOMING is not linear or predictable. It's a dance between shedding old story-seeds (dormancy) and planting new ones (emergence). Notice: Are you forcing growth or allowing it? Leadership transformation often requires letting go, not just adding on. What's "calling" for attention suggests development responds to something beyond you. What story-seeds are knocking at your door? Please consider any revisions based on this comment.
Question 11-12 of 15: BETWEEN – Relationships
BETWEEN – Relationships
🎵 Nova:BETWEEN is where leadership truly happens.
In the space between people, leadership is co-created.
🌀
🎵 Nova: The BETWEEN is where relationships are not possessions but living story-seeds that grow in shared soil. Do you enter relationships transactionally or transformationally? Are you listening monologically (to respond) or dialogically (to be changed)? True collaboration is polyphonic—honoring difference, conflict, and creative tension. Can you remain curious rather than defensive? Please consider any revisions based on this comment.
Question 13-15 of 15: BEYOND – Legacy & Purpose
BEYOND – Legacy & Purpose
🎵 Nova:BEYOND is about transcendence.
Legacy, purpose, and contribution that extends beyond your lifetime.
🌀
🎵 Nova: BEYOND at its most expansive—legacy is not a monument but a living story-seed planted for others to nurture. Purpose is not a fixed star but a constellation that shifts as you move through life. Your connection to "something greater" roots you in humility and wonder. Let this be the final seed you plant, a reminder that leadership is never a solo act. It's a dance with the infinite, a dialogue with the whole, a heart attuned to the infinite. Please consider any revisions based on this comment.
